Professional Choice’s Comfort-Fit SMx Air Ride Pads are developed from the horse’s back down. The pads are contoured to follow the natural curve of the horse’s spine. As a result, the pad locks in place on the horse’s back allowing full movement. The SMx Air Ride core is made of a unique material found in artificial turf fields that helps to absorb shock. The SMx Air Ride core’s natural cooling system lowers the horse’s body temperature and slows the rate of fatigue. The pads have a seamlessly hand -woven Navajo blanket top with a choice of felt or merino wool bottom to help wick away sweat and moisture.
